On Saturday, January 18th, the Puerto Rican Cultural Center opened its doors to a new office in the Hermosa community. The office located at 4046 W. Armitage Avenue, 2nd floor, is dedicated to providing quality services to community residents. We will be assisting people with the application process for the Affordable Care Act (ACA), also known as Obamacare. This past Saturday, we celebrated the soft opening of the office during an event conducted fromย 10am to 3pm. A representative from the Office of the Governor and from Enroll America collaborated with the staff to conduct outreach efforts in the community. In spite of the snowy weather conditions, this event was a great success. We processed many enrollment applications and we also had people from the community stopping by to see our new office.
The Hermosa ACA office will be open from Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm. Vida/SIDA Health Center staff will also be providing HIV testing.Please spread the word of our new location among your family and friends
