In Robert Channick’s Jan. 21 article “Hyperlocal website EveryBlock to be resurrected,” I was pleased to read that Comcast has relaunched this “hyperlocal news space.”
Any outlet that empowers community members should be celebrated. Unfortunately, Comcast and other cable providers have been silencing community voices around the country by making changes that defund and eliminate public access television. This cannot and must not happen in Chicago. Read on.
