On Friday, May 2nd, 2014 Congressman Luis Gutiérrez office celebrated their annual art competition. During this edition, Mariela Quintana-Lazaro, a senior of Dr. Pedro Albizu Campos High School was awarded first prize with her charcoal drawing titled “Don Joaquin”. Mariela will be awarded with a trip to Washington DC where her artwork will be exhibited for a period of a year at the US Congress. Congratulations Mariela!
