On Wednesday, May 14th, El Rescate had David (owner of Boca Locain Nashville) and Juliette Reyes, two professional chefs come to El Rescate to give a cooking class for our youth. Our youth learned how to make a delicious shrimp and mango ceviche from scratch. Everyone was hands on and learned how to properly cut all of the ingredients. They even got to connect with the chefs and ask questions regarding their careers and how they got started. A big thanks to Angelica Alonso for putting this cooking class together and to the chefs for making time from their busy schedules to be with us. Everyone had a great time!
