Erika Kot, a resident at El Rescate was featured on Chicago Beat, a technology newspaper that covers tech stories of the day. Erika participated in a workshop at Blue 1647 with some leaders in Chicago EdTech. Many companies from childhood learning to adult education came by to share what they were up to and explained their successes and challenges when innovating in the education space.
Erika is very passionate about becoming a member of Chicago EdTech. She is interested in learning as much as possible in the technology field by integrating herself and finding innovative ways to participate, hopefully work with Trans Tech, a start up Tech Company geared for trans individuals who want to explore the tech field.ย Erika studied at the College of DuPage where she just completed an internship and is considering returning to school to complete her degree.
