By Abel Fernandez, PRCC Urban Agriculture Gardener/Food Coordinator
Urban Agriculture is getting ready to start planting our community gardens. Since mid February, we have started our indoor planting in soil blocks at the green house of PACHS. Some of the early spring vegetables that are going to be transplanting out of the community gardens are onions, broccoli, cabbage, collards, kale and kohlrabi. We are looking forward to start our growing season this month.
If you want to help and learn how to grow food please don’t hesitate to reach out to me, with your help we can feed our community.
