We are happy to announce a new initiative, El Rescate Basic Center. El Rescate Basic Center is a LGBTQ shelter focused on family reunification, life skills development, continuing education and job placement serving youth 12 to 18 years of age while providing enriching and rewarding experiences in a safe zone to call home while practicing acceptance and tolerance of all identities. ERBC strives to develop self-sufficiency and adaptability for successful future outcomes of the youths we serve. El Rescate Basic Center is an initiative of The Puerto Rican Cultural Center and is dedicated to helping displaced youth explore options and take action in their lives.
As we proceed to establish our neighborhood relationships, we look forward to learning more about all other initiatives and hope to be of service as we collaborate to provide quality services to our communities.
