Batey Urbano After School Program has been working with the youth to improve their academic performance. The purpose of this program is to create a safe and educational space in our community to create a culture of excellence and emphasize the importance of knowledge for the youth in our neighborhood. Tutors engage students, helping them to develop their homework, scholarship s, as well to develop their own personal projects and provide mentoring.

Batey Urbano is also collaborating with the Pipeline Program at Roberto Clemente High School and local Restaurants Nelly’s and Café Colao. This way we engage the students from the community to come to Batey Urbano and enjoy the benefits of the program
