The University of Illinois at Chicago Survey Research Laboratory (SRL) seeks interviewers for the Sinai Community Health Survey. The ideal candidate will have the following qualities:
- Articulate
- Organized
- Assertive
- Computer literate
- Availability on evenings/weekends
- Able to work at least 20 hours per week
A working automobile, cell phone, valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance are also required. Bilingual speakers, fluent in both English and Spanish, are especially needed.
Training will not begin until November 2014. Interviewing will occur at participant homes in 10 community areas of Chicago. Base rate of pay for this project will be $14/hour, and $14.50/hour for bilingual English/Spanish interviewers. Mileage costs are reimbursed.
